Trainee Operations Manager (Live-In) – Bideford Salary: £29,000 + Bonus | 40 Hours Per Week

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in hotel operations while enjoying a live-in position in a stunning location.
About the Role:
As a Trainee Operations Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager and departmental teams to oversee the smooth running of hotel operations. You will gain exposure to all key areas, including front of house, housekeeping, food & beverage, and events, ensuring the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily management of hotel operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience Support the General Manager in implementing procedures to improve efficiency and service quality Work alongside department heads to oversee staff training and development Monitor hotel performance, addressing any issues proactively Help manage budgets, stock control, and supplier relationships Ensure all health & safety and compliance regulations are met Check all weekly rotas for efficiency and, above all, control wage costs
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Enthusiastic and hands-on approach to hotel management
✔ Previous experience in hospitality, ideally in a supervisory role
✔ Basic knowledge of HR processes and employment regulations ✔ Strong leadership and communication skills ✔ A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences ✔ Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations ✔ A desire to learn and progress within the industry
