Are you a passionate chef looking to develop your career in a stunning resort setting? A premium countryside destination in North Devon is seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join a dynamic and supportive kitchen brigade delivering exceptional food experiences across restaurants, events and resort dining outlets.

The role
You will be responsible for managing your designated section of the kitchen, maintaining high culinary standards and supporting the wider brigade in delivering outstanding food experiences for every guest.
Day to day you will prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard, ensure all mise en place is prepared efficiently for service, and supervise and mentor junior chefs and kitchen assistants. You will support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in day-to-day operations, contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal specials, and work collaboratively with front-of-house and wider resort teams. Full compliance with food hygiene, HACCP and health and safety standards is essential, as is a proactive approach to stock rotation, ordering and minimising food waste.
About you
You will have previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or be a strong Commis Chef ready to take the next step. You will have a genuine passion for fresh, seasonal food and high-quality presentation, strong organisational and time-management skills and the ability to perform under pressure in a busy kitchen environment. A positive, team-focused attitude and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays are essential. A Food Hygiene Certificate and experience within a hotel or resort environment are desirable, as is an NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery.
