Luxury countryside resort, nr South Molton, North Devon 40 hours per week | £13.15 per hour
What's in it for you
Before I tell you about the role, here's what this employer is offering:
Pool and gym use, staff meals, a share of service charge, F&B discounts at the resort, retail and cinema discounts, hotel group discounts across the region, flexible working, a proper onboarding programme, an Employee Assistance Programme, and a genuine commitment to training and career progression.
The role
This is a beautiful resort. Set across 120 acres of North Devon countryside near South Molton, the accommodation spans manor house rooms, eco-conscious lodges, and spacious family cottages, all designed to give guests something to remember from the moment they arrive. As Housekeeping Supervisor, you're the person who makes that happen.
It's a hands-on role with real responsibility. You'll carry out detailed checks across the whole estate, allocate work across the housekeeping team, and coordinate with Reception and Maintenance to make sure every space is ready before guests arrive. Whether it's a lodge with a private hot tub overlooking the valley or a cottage set up for a family break, your standards and your attention to detail are what define the guest experience.
Day to day you'll be:
Carrying out pre-arrival checks across all accommodation, from manor house rooms to eco-lodges and cottages; allocating cleaning lists and daily priorities across the team; monitoring and managing stock and equipment levels; working closely with Reception and Maintenance to release properties on time; reporting maintenance issues promptly; and making sure all guest special requests are prepared and in place ahead of arrival.
What I'm looking for on your behalf:
Previous housekeeping experience, ideally with some supervisory responsibility; a strong eye for detail and genuine pride in high standards; the ability to manage multiple priorities across a busy, varied estate; good communication across departments; and someone reliable, positive, and happy to get stuck in wherever needed.
This employer looks after its people. Training and development are taken seriously, and there's a real track record of progression for those who want it. If this sounds like the right next step, I'd love to hear from you.
